I've had an excellent experience with Charlie Cu. He's not only extremely talented, but also collaborative throughout the process as we have been working on a custom piece - he really listens and works with you to make sure the design feels personal and right. His studio and setup are very clean, and you can tell he's conscientious about every detail, from hygiene to make sure you're as comfortable as possible during sessions. I'll be walking away with a project I'm proud of and an experience that felt professional and enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Very great experience!! I had asked for a small tattoo, was able to get 3 in one go AND booked next day! He's very friendly as well and personable. He makes sure you feel confident in what you pick :) He said he usually does the big pieces but was open to working on my small designs and they were PERFECT!

Charlie is not only an extremely talented artist, but he is a genuine, kind man who I had the pleasure of getting to know over ~20 hours together. When I scheduled the appointment online, he was quick and attentive to respond; he guided me through the concept I had in my mind and translated to a piece of art easily. Pricing was reasonable and fair given the quality of work Mr. Cu provides. When it came time for my appointment, I was a little bit nervous (it wasn’t my first tattoo, but still). But Charlie quickly eased my worries away with his friendly and easygoing nature. We hit it off instantly, and kept the conversation going through both days Charlie takes the time to get to know each and every client as a person, which enhances his work, in my opinion - my concept was original and based on personal life experiences. I am very pleased with how it turned out, because it was even better than how I imagined. The line work is crisp and the design was elevated via his own artistic touches. For this concept, it was a traditional American tattoo in an illustration style. Overall, I would highly recommend Charlie to everyone, whether they are new to tattooing or not. I was amazed with how easily everything came together and how naturally he brought my ideas to life. Not only that, I loved our time together because the conversation came naturally and easily. I had an amazing experience and I can’t wait to come back!
